William P. Lear / Bill Lear, a genius, and enterpreneur who did not know the meaning of "it can't be done" and who more often than not showed that the naysayers were wrong, showed the world that when there is a will there is a way, that an individual can accomplish whatever he sets his mind to.

Bill Lear also left a fabulous inheritance to his wife, children and grand-children. This inheritance has been reduced to a shadow of what it was and could have been - at the expense of all the beneficiaries of the Trust. Litigation in the Courts of the State of Nevada with regard to his Estate and Trust (the Lear Family Trust) continues over the Trustees' unauthorized changing of Bill Lear's Last Will and Testament. The grand-children of Bill Lear (a.k.a. Remainder beneficiaries) also allege gross mismanagement of the William P. Lear's / Bill Lear's Trust (apparently with the blessing of the Second Judicial District Court of the State of Nevada which has, among many other acts and omissions, failed and refused to recognize that it was without authority to enter orders so long as an entire class of beneficiaries had not been given notice of the proceedings).
